No prior warnings that anything was wrong with the truck, truck suddenly lost power and died. Transported to dealership was determined mouse nest under ubec, wires chewed and full of mouse urine which caused a short. Box that contains this part is very accessible to rodents. Fortunately, this happened in the driveway, on the road I would have had no steering or brakes, and possible fire.

1) just happened. 2) the resister in the blower motor circuit shorts out. Which causes the wiring harness to burn up melting the plastic at the connector to the resister and the black wire leading to the resister. 3) I had to replace the resister to the circuit and splice in a new wiring harness for the resister.
: the contact stated while the vehicle was parked, the engine compartment caught on fire and burned the vehicle and the garage doors. The fire department and police responded to the emergency call. The fire department determined the fuse box caused the fire. The reports were prepared by both the fire department and police department. Pictures were taken at the scene.
