While driving vehicle would stall intermittently causing the vehicle to pull off the road. Consumer made contact with dealership.
2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer with 21,000 miles. Bought in August 2001. Has been in for service 10 times since we bought it. Latest problem is stalling in the middle of intersections or after stopping. Has been in for repairs for this problem 4 times, and problem recurred today. Went out to start car and it was dead. Just picked it up from the repair shop yesterday. Has been towed three times for same problem. Service shop has reprogrammed computer, replaced battery, ignition switch, and tcm (computer module), and pcm/vcm (other computer modules) and fuse kit. Still having problem. SUV is unreliable and unsafe.
The vehicle stalled intermittently while driving. The dealer was unable to determine cause of problem. The vehicle periodically shut off while in the idle position. The vehicle was delivered to the service department on several occasions to have the problem identified and corrected. As of 07/07/2003, the vehicle continued to have problems with loss of power and the service dept. Has yet to determine the problem. . The air condition developed a foul odor which was present after the vehicle sat in the sun, the odor was detected immediately after the vehicle was started and the ac was turned on, the vehicle was serviced times and then the problem returned, the air condition now takes a long period of time to cool the vehicle and produce cold air.
Consumer was stopped by a police officer, who informed consumer that the tail lights were out. Vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that tail lights needed to be replaced. Also, vehicle stalled while driving at any speed. The vehicle would hesitate and skip upon acceleration, at stop signs. Traffic lights and while parking on inclines. Multiple components were replaced to correct the problem but they recurred. The radio became extremely hot while driving on long trips. The radio was replaced but the problem continued. The a/c unit failed intermittently because of a faulty a/c switch. The consumer mentioned fuel system problems.
I purchased a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS on sept. 19,2002. Within the first week I noticed a hesitation when accelerating from a stop. I contacted the dealer, and they told me they would check it at my first oil change 2500 miles. They did, and told me that there was nothing wrong with the truck. The computer showed no problems. Being a intermittent problem ,the service rep said it would be hard to find the problem. Since then(Dec. 2002),the problem has intermittently occurred several more times,stalling at red light twice. A safety hazard. The truck has been to the dealer service two more times for this problem with no repairs made. The truck now has 10,500 miles and still does not run properly.
The consumer states that while driving at 45mph, the vehicle stalled and died out with out warning resulting in a collision. The dealer has inspected the vehicle three times prior to this incident. Nlm.

When if traffic, vehicle would repeatedly stall with no trouble codes in computer. Dealer could not locate problem. Consumer inspected vehicle and found oil seaping from camshaft position sensor, saturating wiring. Dealer replaced. Problem appears corrected.

Vehicle stalls with no engine re-start. The consumer is requesting that the engine be replaced in there trail blazer because of the stalling in the engine, before this situation occurs resulting in injury or death. Please review and consider request.
