The exhaust and muffler completely detached from the catalytic converter/exhaust manifold while driving down the road. If we were driving at a higher rate of speed, the exhaust pipe could've caught on any imperfection on the roadway and shot the rear end of the vehicle up and then potentially caused an accident/death. This has happened to many I have discovered upon further research and is a common problem with the vehicle according to the dealership. Vehicle has been towed to the dealership to be inspected and/or repaired. Zero warning signals, lamps, or messages.

It does not many how many miles are on the car. Some ive seen 25k and some ive seen at 60k. Shouldn't chevy be recalling and fixing the part? seems unfair to me as a consumer. Who has thousands of dollars to get that repaired?.

At around 42,000 miles my Trailblazer displayed a message that engine power had been reduced and the check engine light came on. Almost every time I shift from park to drive and take my foot off the brake my car jolts forward a couple feet/inches to take off by itself in a manner that it should not. This has been going on since I got the car brand new and have had it just over a little over a year. I try to be as careful as I can with it and mentioned it to the Chevrolet dealership that does all my maintenance on my car. They are not sure what is causing the issue, but on 05/24/2025 I was attempting to get ready to get gas and needed to pull up slightly a little bit more and when I shifted to drive my car jolted forward and hit another vehicle. No damage was done to the other vehicle or mine, and the gentleman was nice and said it caused no damage for either of us but my car cannot keep doing this. Sometime is not right with it to be constantly jolting forward as soon as I shift to drive and take my foot off the break peddle to go. This could have been a lot worse had a human been in front of me and I do not want that to ever happen.

My 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer activ with 26,000 experienced complete engine failure while driving. Palm Chevrolet said my Trailblazer had “internal engine failure” and needs to be replaced.

While driving the car stalled and eventually stopped running. The battery was still on, but there was no power to the engine. The car needed to be pushed out of the road and towed to the dealership for work.

My vehicle keeps flashing: "shift to park" when I am in park and then my car is unable to shut off the battery even though I'm in park and our of the vehicle.

On [xxx] while driving on the highway my check engine light came on. The car turned off while going 60mph on the 18 mile stretch towards miami from key west and luckily there were no cars around me. I checked for the code and it was p1467 for the evap purge pump. I took it to a dealership in miami and they told me it would be fine to drive that the part needed to be replaced. I drove back to key west and bought the replacement part. That same part did not work. I checked to see if the part was receiving voltage and it was. So I will continue with going to the dealership. My wife and son have developed a cough from having to constantly smell the fumes due to their existing asthma. I will never buy another chevy again.

On numerous occasions (typically when needing to accelerate into the flow of traffic), the reduced engine power message and engine light came on, the car rapidly decelerated to 35 mph, and would not accelerate rapidly. Turbocharger, waste gate actuator, and other parts need replaced and reprogrammed, but issue persists. On one occasion, power was reduced and car was stuck "revving" at 25 mph. I have had to swerve off the road to avoid a crash of being rear-ended. Issue started around 60,000 but has happened at least 5 separate times.

In January my fuel gage stopped working , unable to know how much gas I had. The fuel pump and floater needed to be replaced if fuel was not getting to the engine the vehicle would stop working causing a possible accident with other drivers . I did not use this vehicle for many days until a mechanic cleared for useage . It cost me $320. 00 of my own money to fix this for safety concerns. As of today 1/22/25 I has been fixed by a-plus in north fort myers.

I tried multiple times to shift to park to get the car to recognize it was actually in park and turn off the vehicle but I was unable to do so. I was frantic and panicked to find I could not turn off my vehicle as I park on a apartment complex lot. That day I took the car to henna Chevrolet in austin TX for repair. They said the part was on backorder from gm with no eta. It is now November 1st and there is still no eta on when I will get the part for my car from gm. My daughter was stopped at a stoplight and the auto-stop engaged. The light turned green and she began to accelerate when all of the error lights on the dash lit up, then the dash info system and infotainment system went out followed by the engine turning off and not restarting. While all of this happened, the vehicle behind me struck my daughter’s car. Luckily it was at a low rate of speed and no one was injured. I took the car to the dealer and after nearly a week of testing they found nothing wrong and found no error codes in the system. They ere not able to replicate the problem. However, once we got the vehicle back a similar instance happed again, except just the dash info system and infotainment system went out and the car was still drivable. Once restarted the electronics came back on as normal. It has not happened again at this point. Had the first incident happened at a higher rate of speed a severe injury or fatality could have occurred.

I was driving my 1 week old vehicle, on a city street, foot still on the gas, and the vehicle completely shut down; no power at all. It wasn't the auto start/stop technology, but rather a complete power down. No lights, no hazard lights, no dash, nothing worked. The car came to an abrupt stop. The gear shift could not be moved into neutral, nothing. Luckily I was on a city street with not a lot of traffic. If I had been on a highway it could have caused a serious accident; if I had been driving across railroad tracks and it stops - very dangerous. My 2021 chevy Trailblazer has an error reading “shift to park” that randomly appeared 2 weeks ago, now is doing it almost every time I stop my car, error has also cause my battery to die. When error is showing my car will not shut off. Took to a chevy dealer and recommended changing the gear shift assembly, can’t guarantee it will fix the problem. They have ordered the part but $450 plus parts and labor for not a guarantee is concerning. I also travel for work and have been left stranded because of this issue.

While in traffic, brand new 2024 chevy Trailblazer vehicle has stalled on us a few times now and doesn't start right back up. It appears to happen when the vehicle is going from the fuel saving "start-stop mode" and we've found ourselves in a precarious situtations in traffic. I can foresee this happening at a very dangerous time causing a bad wreck. We just dropped the vehicle off with the dealer as we've had other issues with safety deterrent system going off for no reason and other pop ups on the instrument panel. However, the stalling in the middle of traffic is my worst concern.

Noise only when cold at front tire passenger side nosie at front tire passenger side while steering. Check engine lite code po299 turbocharger/supercharger underboost-engine power is reduced. Replaced tire at 24600 miles. While driving at 65 mph, the forward collision avoidance system activated, and the car stopped at 65 mph. It happened 5 times that car fully stopped, and numerus time I get forward collision activated but then nothing happens. Imagine on freeway from 65 to 0 brakes by itself. Hard shifting and body shaking while accelerating. Hood is shaking while driving on freeway.

The pick up on the vehicle is losing power it seems not letting the rpm's go up or drop down before taking off. This cause the vehicle to move slower than normal code keeps popping up losing power engine while drive and engine light comes on this goes on for about a week or so than stops and engine light disappear and reappears again.

Coolant control valve causes car to overheat leaving car and passengers stranded on the side of the road. This is dangerous as it increases the risk accidents. The part is on back order since most of the vehicles with the original part are defective. Something needs to be done to correct this problem!.

My vehicles check engine light came on at 80,000 miles with a reduced engine power alert. If I'm on the highway I'm unable to accelerate quickly if I needed to. We had the vehicle checked out and it was the turbocharger that was bad. I had taken it to a Chevrolet dealership and they said other chevy vehicles have already had a recall on some models for the exact same reason. I believe this is a serious problem with the Trailblazers as well for what I have found online. Please put a recall on this. It's very expensive repair for most people's financial situation.

Bolts/studs that attach/hold exhaust system together rotted/rusted/broke after only 2 years of use causing entire exhaust system to become detached from vehicle.

Month of June of 2024 I purchased 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer lt with 31k miles on the odometer I had to service my vehicle and had to replace the fuel pump, took weeks to get in due to the strike that took place, Chevrolet will not back behind their employees nor their consumers. They only honored me 15pts on my vehicle, a few months pass and more issues arise one being the manifold sensor (a) and then another two days on the road the wiring harness thankfully my car was under a secondary warranty and I paid $200 per repair, although this became a very costly month being $600 car payment and $400 in repairs in a matter of a few months owning the vehicle, I am having similar issues again with the wiring harness a year later.
