The vehicles clock spring failed prior to recall notice 02v-293000. The consumer requested reimbursement but only received partial reimbursement.
While driving at 65mph at a head on collision with a deer. Frontal airbags didn't deploy. Vehicle was totalled. Dealer contacted.
In a head on collision none of the air bags deployed on impact. Driver sustained major injuries.
Driving down the road at 35 mph when both air bags went off at once. No reason for deployment, no other vehicles or damage involved. Caused miner abrasions to driver and passenger as well as damage by spilled soda of passenger. Also cracked the windshield.

During a full frontal impact at 30-35 mph (estimated), neither front air bag deployed. The initial review by the body shop indicates the extent of damage is significant enough to cause the vehicle to be totaled. The extent of injuries to my wife (driver) are unknown at this time as they have developed over the course of the day (pain in left wrist and hand, right elbow, and chest). While driving through an intersection about 20 mph another vehicle struck consumer's vehicle on the driver's side, and the air bags deployed, but did not stay inflated for long time.
While pulling vehicle into driveway and shifting into park the driver's air bag inadvertently deployed. This caused temporary loss of hearing in her right ear and minor injuries and bruises to chest/head and right side. Dealer notified.
A fire started in the a/c vent by the steering wheel, from which flames came out and engulfed the car. Also, driver's airbag deployed. Vehicle shut off. Vehicle has previously been serviced for transmission problems.

I was slowing down toward a traffic light and about 35-mph the abs light came on. The car brakes went almost to the floor could not stop. Consequently I could not avoid a collision. The dealer said that the air bag did not open because the vehicle impact was inches just above the left side of the bumper, to my surprise. I thought I was buying a safe vehicle for my family. Driver cannot open window without his face being approximately four inches from the airbag, depending on sit and wheel positions, if an accident occurs could cause serious injuries to operator's neck. Consumer states bumpers on vehicle are made of this useless plastic.
