Power train auto transmission controls module reset has already been done to car. When accelerating from 50-75 the transmission shudders and jumps. When you go up hill it's impossible to accelerate at all without the transmission shuddering. Engine light blinks occasionally.
Sudden downshift from higher gear to 1st gear while driving. This has happened twice in the last week. Both times the vehicle was already in motion in a straight line. The first time it was in 3rd gear and downshifted into 1st at about 30 mph while trying to accelerate. The second time it was in 5th gear going downhill and the transmission shuddered then dropped into 1st gear at about 40mph. Both times the engine rpm spiked and it was necessary to immediately pull over out of traffic until the transmission reset itself.
Began to notice rough shifting a lower speeds (30 - 45) at about 12,000 miles. Over time it became more pronounced and feels like the engine is lugging at this speed. The transmission causes a shudder when shifting up or down as if the transmission is having a problem getting into gear. Left the truck at the dealer for 3 days and they told me they could not replicate the problem. I think the streets they were driving were so rough that they couldn't feel the shudder. I was told that it may be a problem the computer is having synchronizing the fuel system and the engine rpm's. Don't know about that but the problem still exists at 20,000 miles now.
