2004 Ford F-250 sd. Consumer requests assistance in helping obtain satisfactory attention and results related to recalls and repairs the consumer stated the egr valve was bad and needed to be replaced. The vehicle ran fine for awhile, until the egr valve went bad again. The fuses burned out on a consistent basis, the battery died, the fuel gauge did not give accurate readings, the vehicle stalled on several occasions and the crank position sensor failed.

2 Crankshaft Position Sensor problem of the 1997 Ford F-250

Failure Date: 01/01/2004

1. No event prior to the failure. Failure occurred without warning. 2. Failure of the crank position sensor on Ford f250 with 7. 3 liter navistar diesel with result that truck would not start or run. 3. Called a Ford mechanic who said this happens regularly and I should carry a spare cps. Replaced cps and truck started and ran properly. Part cost about $190. I have to search records for the date - about two years ago. Date below is not accurate.

3 Crankshaft Position Sensor problem of the 2002 Ford F-250

Failure Date: 12/19/2000

Auto-Ford F-250 power stroke. When the crankcase sensors goes bad this vehicle stops runningand you no longer have steering brakes. It has happend to me 6 times brefore it was fixed. It is very dangerous.
