Ford F-250 owners have reported 3 problems related to dashboard failed (under the electrical system category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The 120 volt outlet in the dash faults out all the time, it has been in the shop at least four times to resolve the issue. Ford csr at first claimed the dealership could not duplicate the issue which was a lie, as I could show them the failure, then Ford csr sent me an email stating they can not fix it and if I don't like their answer to file a complaint with the better business bureau. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

The contact owns a 2003 Ford F-250. While attempting to drive the vehicle, it failed to start and the fuel gauge failed to provide an accurate reading. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that he needed to take the vehicle back where it was purchased. The approximate failure mileage was 143,000.

I have a 2013 F-250 sd. Here is the problem, randomly while you are driving all of the gauges on the dashboard go dead. In addition, all the alert lights (check engine, traction, etc. ) light up. Furthermore, the message display reads "serviceadvancetrac". If the truck is turned off while in this state, the truck will not start again for at least 12 hrs. I have had it in for diagnostics and service to two different Ford dealers for a total of four times since November. Yet, the problem is still not fixed. It is an ongoing issue and Ford cannot seem to tell me what the problem is.
