Ignition Switch Problems of Ford F-250

The inner core of the ignition switch is bad which when moved up or down by movement of the truck going down the road causes the dash lights ,gps, radio and any other electrical part to stop working , also if you have a memory adjust seat it will start going forward and back sporadically which in turn tightens up the seat belt to extreme pressure , which is very distracting to the driver , which in turn could cause an accident . Discussed this with Ford and the response was it was not broken so they were not going to fix it. Someone has to be killed before they do anything for a $2. 00 item or the electrical system has to catch on fire before they will do anything . Some one needs to force them into fixing there products.

2008 Ford f250 super duty: ignition switch when turned to start/cranking position does not return to normal run position. This leaves instruments blank and inoperative, and all power accessories fail to operate until truck is shut off & restarted.

The contact owns a 2000 Ford f250. When the contact turns off the vehicle after it has been driven, it will suddenly restart automatically. She must insert the key and turn the ignition switch on and off in order to turn off the vehicle. The contact did not notice any differences in the vehicle prior to the failure. The failure occurred intermittently. The vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer. The current and failure mileages were 150,000.

First day-accessories stay on while ignition switch is turned off & key is removed. Second day-batteries goes dead, wipers turn on by themselves, speedometer quits, transmission will not shift, 2 different buzzing noise from under dash, dome lights flashing on & off, abs brake lights come on. We have had no recent mechanical work done. No single source causes all these problems at one time.

Why is the ignition switch recalled only for f-150 pickup trucks while the same switch is in the F-250 and f-350 trucks as well?.
