Clutch Assembly Linkage Clutch Cable/rod/arm problems of the 2014 Ford Focus

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Focus. The contact stated that their grandson drives the vehicle and that the contacts grandson began to notice that while driving the vehicle at various speeds, both upon beginning to accelerate and beginning to deaccelerate the vehicle will shutter, or hesitate. The contact also stated that upon braking the vehicle begins to lurch forward as well. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, however the vehicle was not diagnosed. The contacts grandson was advised that the clutch was probable cause for the failure experienced on the vehicle, and that he would have to replace the clutch on his vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 92,000.
