The contact owns a 2010 Nissan Murano. While driving approximately 50 mph, the brake pedal was depressed, but traveled to the floorboard without properly slowing the vehicle. The contact stated that there were no signs of a brake fluid leak; however, the brake fluid reservoir went from full to empty once the brake pedal was depressed. The contact also stated that the vehicle directional control became inoperable. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the failure recurred once. The dealer and manufacturer were not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 126,000.
