I am the owner of a 2005 Mustang. I have already had to replace the throttle body as my car (which is an automatic) would randomly stall out at lights. One time leaving me stranded in the intersection. It is very difficult to fill my gas tank as the gas pump nozzle kicks back for some reason while pumping. My speedometer will read inaccurately at times, sometimes reading extremely high numbers, sometimes not at all. I am using gps and my own discrection when gauging how fast I'm going. After a heavy rainstorm, when making left turns, my passenger floor becomes flooded by water pouring out from under the passenger side dashboard. My passengers feet get soaked as well as carpet, floormat and any other things I have in the floor board.
Spark plugs ejecting out of cylinder head on my 2002 Ford Mustang gt. Had one blow out 1 year ago and now another on the other head. Used heli-coil kit to repair the first one on the drivers side head. Just this past October in 2009 the spark plug blew out again. Got new head installed in January 2010. A week later , just today, another spark plug blew out on passenger side head.

The contact owns a 2006 Ford Mustang. While driving 70 mph the vehicle stalled. Occasionally, the vehicle will restart and when it doesn't, the vehicle has to be towed. The rpm's also increased to 2000, which made it difficult to decelerate. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was 25000. The current mileage was 26000.
#1 - there are no identifiable events that either originally, or subsequently lead up to the failure(s). #2 - the 'failure' is on-going, and intermittent in nature, with the car stalling randomly, not responding to the gas pedal and then surging forward a few seconds later and exhibiting lag time when shifting. We had several episodes of stalling when going through an intersection which has put us in 'the line of fire' with on-coming traffic. We have also experienced complete shut-down of the vehicle when just going down the road. #3 - the car has been in and out of the shop for over two years, with periods experiencing o. K. Performance, and these intermittent issues.
2003 Ford Mustang cobra has a stalling problem, this happens when decelerating, or shifting into neutral when stopping. This presents a serious problem, such as rear-ending someone, since you loose power braking and steering. There is a supposed fix for it, (a computer reflash) which I have had twice, but it just plain doesn't work.

Blown Ford spark plug! I drive a 2001 Ford Mustang gt, 4. 6l v8, and one night I was sitting at a red light and as soon as it turned green I stepped on the gas like any other light and I blew a spark plug. I bought the car used with 10k on it and it blew at 56k. I never replaced the plugs so im guessing they were factory installed. As of today I have replaced both heads but the damage from the blown spark plug seems to have affected my engine block itself. My guess is from driving the car off the road into a parking lot. Not having money to rebuild the engine I have since parked the car hoping Ford take responsibility for its mistake. I have read more and more how many Ford v8s tend to do this yet Ford acts like it doesn't exist. I called Ford about ordering new heads and they insisted there is no problem. I was raised on Fords but don't see me buying one ever again.

2005 Mustang v6 auto. Nearly got hit on side because car stalled when accelerating from a still position turning left to cross a through traffic road to get accross to another road. Happened at least 10 times since owning car.
2003 Mustang. While driving in a hard down pour I went through a puddle causing the breather to suck up some water and blowing my engine. I went to the dealer and they told me Ford would not fix the problem. It is still under warranty with less than 20,000 miles. They also informed me this has happened before to others. It has stalled on me before while driving in the rain.
While driving at an undetermined speed the vehicle stalled, which caused the consumer to pull off the road. The consumer took the vehicle to a mechanic. Please add any additional information.

2003 Ford svt cobra new with 850 miles has stalled during deceleration eleven times to date causing a very dangerous situation since you have no engine power for acceleration, brakes or steering. I have just missed being in several accidents that could have been fatal to me and others. Ford svt keeps saying they have a pcm reflash and a TSB coming out in two weeks that will fix the problem. However, they have been indicating that for months and are obviously trying to avoid resolving the issue. There are many documented complaints on the svtperformance. Com board in the terminator forum including mine in addition to calls to svt on their hotline @ 1-800-367-3788. Please investigate this serious issue with Ford before someone is killed or seriously injured. Thank you.
2003 Ford Mustang cobra purchased on 11/08/03, vehicle will stall without warning when clutch is depressed. Often this happens when coming to a stop and shifting gears. When this happens the brakes and steering immediately stop working. Currently to date no adequate repair for this problem.
2003 Ford Mustang cobra coupe: during decelleration while shifting or in neutral, car stalls, losing power steering and brakes.
While driving at an undetermined speed vehicle stalled, causing the consumer to pull off the road.
Car stalls when slowing to a stop and has happened several times. Took the car to Ford and cleaned the throttle body and reflashed the computer. The problem came back several days later and changed the idle air control valve yet the problem still arises. When slowing to a stop the rpm drop to 500 rpm and then bounced back up to an idle at 700 rpm. Other times that it will drop below 500 rpm, and the car starts to stall.

Car stalls without warning.
My 2003 Ford Mustang cobra stalled as I was getting off the freeway. When I hit the clutch after decelerating, the car stalled causing me to lose brakes and steering. If it wasn't for the people at svtperformance. Com, I wouldn't have known of this issue, and wouldn't have been able to start the car while it was still moving, narrowly avoiding slamming into a brick wall at 60 mph.
2003 Ford Mustang cobra. . . Vehicle will stall without warning when clutch is depressed. Often this happens when coming to a stop and shifting gears. When this happens the brakes and steering immediately stop working. When stopping on an incline this can cause a situation where you either roll into the vehicle in front of you or out into the middle of an intersection. I have had no accidents yet because of this but I have had 1 close call.
2003 Ford Mustang svt cobra. This is my second 2003 cobra (the first was involved in an accident). Both cobra's have and had problems with stalling, which causes a near complete loss of braking power (the brakes must have the engine running in order for them to work, unlike some vehicles), which is potentially extremely hazardous to my safety, as well as any other vehicle, pedestrian, children, or animal near me. It happens on deceleration at low speeds driving around town. There is a massive amount of documents going on that shows nearly 40% or more of 2003 cobra owners are having the same issues. . Potentially dangerous situation when 2003 Ford cobra stalls upon deceleration and brakes become inoperable. Almost crashed multiple times. If I get into an accident because of this I will sue forward as they have not recognized this as a problem.
Frequent stalling when in a deceleration mode - coasting up to a traffic light - pressing in the clutch while braking. The idle speed drops to about 500 rpm, and then either catches itself and idles up, or does not, and stalls out. This has happened in turns, and this heavy car is hard to turn when the power steering is inactivated by the stalled engine.
The vehicle shook and vibrated while driving which almost caused an accident. The vehicle also stalled several times while driving. The dealership replaced the engine with a re-manufactured one.
Vehicle stalling when slowing down or turning. Clutch is not engaged. This is not the first time this has happened. It occurred in oct. Of 2002 and in April 2003.

2003 cobra. Vehicle stalls during deceleration. Typical scenario involves light to moderate braking while out of gear. Clutch engagement will not recover car. Brakes rapidly fade and vehicle loses steering capability. Occurred at least 2-3 times a week from date of purchase, July 02. Abated during winter months and retained in spring. Dealer duplicated stall but no repair available. Still stalls to date.
The car sometimes stalls and the brakes and power steering turn off. Very dangerous, I almost got hit by a semi truck.
The vehicle stalled while driving. When the consumer attempted to restart the vehicle it stalled again and sometimes does not start at all. The control valve was changed with no codes showing in the system. Before, the mecahnic stated that the problem was due to the weather and the gas. The right rear tire had a bubble in the sidewall and was replaced. Scc.
Car stalls when clutch pressed down and brake applied. Loss of power steering and power brakes making car extremely unsafe.
Car stalls under braking. Getting onto highway from access ramp, I accelerated to 70 mph then touched brakes to slow to 65 and the car stalled. I lost power steering, power brakes, and acceleration. A car cut me off and I almost ran into the back of the vehicle due to the loss of braking power and tried to swerve onto the shoulder but the steering was tough due to the lack of power.
In December of 2002 I purchased a 2003 svt cobra Mustang from satcher Ford. This car had a number of problems which caused Ford to replace the engine, re-flash the computer, replace clutch. This car had a stalling problem that left me afraid to drive it. When you would depress the clutch, the car would sometimes stall. This would cause the loss of brakes and steering and nearly caused an accident. Ford finally agreed to buy back the car and get me another car, but I am having the same stalling problem with that 2003 cobra as well. Satcher Ford has indicated that they do not have a fix yet. Ford need to look at this problem because it will get someone killed if they do not correct it.
2003 Mustang cobra. Vehicle stalls on deceleration causing loss of power brakes and steering. Car starts right up after stall but this has happened a dozen or more times first thing in the morning or after the car has sat for an extended time.
The car intermittently stalls on deceleration. When decelerating to a stop, pushing in the clutch and braking will cause the vehicle to die. There is no warning or definite rate of speed or rpm. It occurs occasionally. The dealer attempted to fix by adjusting the voltage on the throttle position switch, second reprogrammed the computer. The third occurance stated they could not duplicate the problem. This is a safety issue because when the car dies while braking, you lose power steering and braking ability.
While driving on flat or incline surface at low speeds vehicle will stall with no warning. Dealer notified.
I own a 2003 Ford Mustang cobra. This vehicle is prone to stalling on deceleration causing loss of power to the brake and steering systems. This condition occurs usually in the morning. This occurs at a rate of around once every week or two since I purchased the vehicle last June 2002.
Consumer states that when they push on the clutch and release the gas vehicle will stall out.
