- the contact stated the throttle on his 2007 Ford Mustang gt became stuck, he had just shifted into 2nd gear. He was traveling at 25 mph, but does not remember what speed the vehicle reached before he was able to stop. The contact stated that he stepped on the brake and turned the power off to the engine to slow down the vehicle and coasted to the side of the road. There were no warning indicators or lights. The contact attempted to restart the vehicle and the throttle again became stuck. The failure mileage was 2489 miles. The vehicle was towed to a Ford dealership. the engine rpm increase instantly and caused the vehicle to speed up out of control. The consumer was a told the vehicle had a faulty mass air sensor. Updated 06/09/08.

Consumer cannot fill up gas tank completely. Vehicle checked by dealer 4 times, and problem still exists. Dealer has replaced fuel filler pipe, tube assembly, fuel vapor control valve solenoid and fuel vapor storage canister assembly.

Check engine light stays on constantly. Engines idles rough and stales at about 1500 rpm's. If you turn on the heater or ac. The problem gets worse. I scanned the car and got a misfire code and an egr code. Replaced all ignition parts and all emission parts and the code and problem won't go away. Help please. Under light to moderate aceleration a shudder or bucking is felt in 3rd gear speed is between 30 and 45 mph . The dealer replaced egr. And mass airflow and the automatic transmission problem still is present.
