I bought my Ford Mustang on June 2018. When the miles hit 30,000, the engine shakes every time my vehicle starts, and my whole car shakes noticeably when idling. The exhaust gas flow from the car has obvious intermittent, meanwhile, the exhaust pipe shakes a lot, and you can clearly hear the "burst" sound or thump. In addition, my whole car has obvious jitters at low speeds of more than 2,000, and the acceleration is weak. When the speed is high you can feel a little less jittery. It is not jittery under normal operating conditions of the engine. When my auto is on d or r, it doesn't move after I release the brake. Plus, the variable box occasionally makes a strange noise and vehicle coolant does not working properly. What scares me the most is that one time I was driving on l-595 high way, my vehicle shut down automatically, I tried to restart it but failed, I was panic, I had to wait for more than 10 minutes on the high speed road to try to restart the car again. Luckily I pulled my car in the emergency lane, I can't image if it wasnt. After all those, I went to my dealer at plantation FL, they can fix for me since my car is still under coverage but I don't want get it repaired. I deeply doubt whether the repair would completely fix those issues. Please help and advice if I can get my car recalled? I was looking for a car that I always wanted but not hanging by a thread.

I was traveling on a major highway at the speed limit (75 mph in this area of texas) and had just changed lanes when the car would not go, I kept pushing the accelerator and the car would not go. Fortunately, I was able to coast off the highway and was able to go up an off ramp and pull off the shoulder of the road. The Mustang started to make a noise and shuttered, so I turned off the engine being afraid that the engine would be damaged. I was able to start the car again and was able to pull into a parking lot and call for help. The engine started to shutter again and the accelerator would not work. Also, luckily a Ford dealership was with a mile so I was able to drive to it and was told it was a stuck throttle body and charged a deductable for a defective part that Ford should have had a recall on a long time ago. I could have been hit from behind while on the busy highway and injured or killed. Also my transmission fills very "jerky" at times when slowing down or after stopping and starting again from a red light or stop sign. I am very glad that my Mustang is still under warranty.

The contact owns a 1994 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while applying the brakes, the vehicle made a strange sound then accelerated. The contact stated that the failure was experienced several times. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who stated that the fuel pump and head gasket needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 97,000.
Tl - the contact owns a 2007 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that the vehicle made knocking and pinging noises from the engine while driving or parked without warning. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was advised that there was low engine oil and in result the engine needed to be replaced. The contact mentioned that the oil pressure indicator failed to illuminate. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure and current mileage was 27,000. Dr.

I have a 1999 Mustang 3. 8l-v6. Recently, the car began to expel a white vapor from the tailpipe when the engine is hot, along with a vibration noise. This has happened as many as 2-3 times per day. I took the car to a Ford dealer for service and replaced an air pump. This did not correct the problem. I did some research on the internet and found that many people have had the same problem which turned out to be due to blown head gaskets. I discussed that issue with the dealer representative and they said that there is no record of that kind of problem with a 1999 Mustang. I have found that this is not true.

We have had issues with this car since it was bought new. All issues have been looked at by the dealer during the factory warranty and still remain unresolved. I have written a letter to Ford headquarters but they sent a complete rejection letter. I was told today by a Ford customer service representative to file a complaint here. I can supply documents and the original letter to Ford if needed. The main issues from purchasing new and driving off the lot are (in rough order of importance): -major paint and clear coat issues (brought to dealer two days after purchase to complain. They have never resolved problem and it has continued to get worse to this day. ) -driver door window stops working intermittently. -car engine surging making car lurch forward (my wife was involved in a minor accident because of this. It was reported to insurance. ) -engine acts like it wants to stall when turning steering wheel in reverse. -headlight lenses completely clouded early on (have had to have restoration done to headlights several times. ) -engine sounds like diesel when ambient temperature is high. -bulge in seal above windshield frame where convertible top seats against it. -stereo interference (loud continuous buzzing sound. ) -ac thump (high pressure coolant line hits firewall when compressor starts. ) -driver door rattle (after the window was worked on but was not fixed. ) -light burned out in ac panel (occurred after stereo was replace to try to eliminate interference, but was not resolved. ) we have maintained and kept our low mileage Mustang in excellent condition otherwise. We don't know where to go from here. Thank you.
