My 2017 Ford Mustang gt with only 3000 miles on it has almost to no coolant in it it's been a garage kept car hasn't even seen a track or driving it hard!! I have never owned a new car that just lost coolant like that. The reason I'm reporting this is I seriously think this is a very wide spread problem with all Fords lineup for all I know 2017 year my sister owns the 2017 Ford escape with only 10,000 miles on it her car was the first to have this problem we call Ford they say bring it in but they won't be able to even look at until July of next month because they have so many in the shop with cooling issues. She's stuck with a rental for over a month they didn't even want to offer her one! how can someone not have a car for over a month and still have a job?? but back to my car as of today 06/18/2018 my Mustang had the same freaking problem now so here we are paying over $800 in car payments just to be fucked without two cars for months I think this unacceptable and would greatly appreciate it if you all could maybe look into this I honestly think this is a massive recall that should be aware of especially living in texas where it gets 100+ degrees we drive mostly on a highway everyday might be when in motion not too sure yet.

While driving down the left lane of the sawgrass expressway, a very busy highway between ft. Lauderdale and miami, I lost all throttle response. The wrench light came on the dashboard and I went from 60 mph down to nothing by the time I was off to the side of the road. Cars behind me were obviously braking hard to avoid smashing into me. I turned the car off and was about to call aaa, but the heat index that day was around a million degrees so I turned the car back on. The throttle response had returned so I cautiously limped the car back home in the right hand lane the whole way. I thought it was some freak computer glitch until it happened again going to the store the next day. I called the Ford dealership and before I even got the problem oout of my mouth the service tech said " it is your throttle body. We see this all the time. It will be about $800 to repair". If the techs are aware of this problem and it is all over the internet with people complaining about dangerous situations the have been placed in as a result, and there is already a recall for the same problem in other Ford models, then why hasn't the NHTSA done anything to force Ford to recall for the same problem on the Mustang? does someone have to die first? has somebody died because of this?.

Upon approaching a red light with the clutch pedal pressed down, and manual trans in neutral the engine died. Also had "run power on" on the dash. Bumped the start button and it started right up. Description of electrical issues: temps outside were mid 80's. (car was still cold engine wise and I had the a/c on full blast when it died. ) dash board information/touch screen readout said it was 70 degrees outside while temps were in the mid 80's. And as I was driving, (city traffic) I would shift at or around 2500 rpm. When I pressed in the clutch to shift the rpm's would jump about 1000 rpm's until I let the clutch out. This occurred about three or four times out of ten to fifteen shifts. About 3 miles up the road I pulled over, shut the car off and opened the door to turn off the stereo and touch screen. Cranked it up and right away the outside temp reading was the actual 85 degrees. No more revs on shift and ran fine all the way home for the next 15 miles. Reporting this due to multiple issues of this being reported by other 2015 Mustang owners on social media and Mustang related websites.

After service of my 4. 6 Mustang gt, my car began missing and I had the diagnostic complete it reported a misfire on plug 7 & 8, so I had the plugs replaced. During the replacement, I saw coolant under both the 7 & 8 plug. The misfire continues, and I took it to the dealer they told me the intake manifold had failed and that there is no remedy for the consumer even though Ford is aware of the problem and has a kit to sell to the consumer for 900+ dollars. Fleet cars taxi, crown vic's used by sheriff departments were cleared for replacement, but no the consumer civilian. What sense does that make? if the engineering is bad, and it is, the replacement should be for all owners of the 4. 6 liter engine. How is the segregation of fleet cars from personal use vehicles legal in this country? everyone who owns these defective vehicles should have a replacement made available regardless of when the failure occurred, and what other damage can I expect to find? will this have a daisy chain of failures due to the bad design? I understand the cost to replace will be $1,200. 00 + with the dealership estimate parts and labor.

I have a 2002 Ford Mustang gt that I bought new. I was driving to work on 2/16/09 & I heard a loud sound like someone had hit underneath my hood with a hammer so I immediately pulled over & turned the car off. I smelt a smoke / burning smell & when the hood was raised there was no fire. It was 31 degrees & I had no cell phone service so needless to say was I late for but I was stranded. I was there for 45 - 50 minutes before I was able to intouch with someone. It cost 75. 00 to have it towed to a Ford dealership & they are saying it blew a spark plug through the coil & cracked the very front pulley. They have not said whether it has put a dent in the hood / fender. They will call on 2/17/09 with the final estimate & report. The service dept said that if it has messed up any heads then I will be looking at 1500. 00 each head. . . . There is enough of people that this has happen to. Not only is this aggravating because of there neglect to produce a vehicle that is safe. But this can harm whom ever is the vehicle @ this time. My vehicle could not be moved any further because of this it had to be towed. I feel that Ford motor company is responsible for this problem that is happening to alot of us right now because of there neglect. I would like to know if there is a new / any petition to sign. Also is there any right that I have to proceed with this in the form of a petition or lawsuit & is there anything that I need to do to be able to do which ever I choose?.

Engine failed after owning car for only 2 weeks. Car died in the middle of an intersection. Tow truck picked it up, and dealership said that the engine harness was not properly wired. Air conditioning made loud noises when running. Dealership said that the water was dropping directly on to the 1500 degree exhaust pipe causing the loud noise. Because the heat shield wasn't properly functioning, dealership placed a pipe underneath to divert the water.

A ticking, rattling noise in the motor which begins at 3,000 rpms and stops when car shifts into 2nd gear. When in 2nd gear, the ticking will begin at 3,000 rpms. It started doing this when the weather dropped below 55 degrees. It will do it in the morning for about 5 mins. Once car warms up, ticking noise vanishes. It is very loud. I was reading articles on bullittclub. Com and many 2001 Mustang owners are reporting the exact same problem. A man had his car in the dealership for over a month. His car still ticks when cold and he was told that he was placed on the list of Ford's "unfixables" I have not taken my car to the dealer because I am waiting to see what the fix is. I didnt hear this noise when the vehicle was driven off the lot in January. This is the same for everyone else who is having this problem. Bullitclub. Com and click on mechanical issues, then click on "very scary sound". . . . It is almost 10 pages long of people who have this problem. This noise cannot be normal and I want Ford to do something about it, other than put you on the "unfixables" list.
