1 Transmission Noise problem of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 12/28/2020

My husband was sitting at a traffic light and accelerated when the light turned green. As he proceeded through the intersection the vehicle made a loud pop noise and then the engine went to a high rev and the vehicle would not move. He coasted down a hill with no power and was able to pull into a parking lot. A few months before the transmission failed, I had noticed that the vehicle kept jumping while I would have my foot on the brake. When I had my oil changed at the dealership last fall, I asked if there were any recalls and explained how the vehicle would jump - as if I had been rear-ended - and I was told that my vehicle was up-to-date on all recalls. I only had 59,082 miles on my vehicle when the transmission failed.

2 Transmission Noise problem of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 09/08/2020

On Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at approximately 1130 hours, my recently purchased 2019 Jeep Cherokee latitude plus 4x4 with 30,000 miles locked up at a speed approximately 30 plus mph, while entering an interstate on ramp. A tractor trailer traveling at approximately 50 miles an hour narrowly avoided me in a near head on / t-bone accident. My vehicles engine revved prior to my transmission making tremendous noise and suddenly my vehicle felt as if I had just hit a solid concrete wall. My vehicle lost all steering and I had zero control over where the vehicle was traveling. My dash lit up with every light and my parking brake was also engaged. If this had happened a second later, I wouldn't be alive! if this had happened on the interstate at 70 mph I can't imagine what damage this vehicle would have cause physically to me or any passenger. Let alone who this vehicle would have hurt. All these engines and transmissions should be recalled, they will kill someone. The transmission will damage the engine and vice versa, so recalling one after it damaged the other, is like putting a band aid on a turd! northbound interstate 77 on ramp at the pocatalico entrance (I have owned this vehicle approximately 3 weeks and this is my first vehicle purchase). Again, I would ask the NHTSA to recall all the engines and transmissions for this vehicle, these are lemon's which will kill, if they haven't already. I have seen the Jeep lawsuit for the 2014, 2015s. Please stop them from selling these powertrains for the 2019s! or at least make Jeep recall them. This is fraud. If it's not, I don't know what is. So I'm stuck with a vehicle that can kill me, you guys are the only ones that can stop this. Thanks 🙏.

3 Transmission Noise problem of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 02/10/2020

My vehicle is experiencing frequent stalling and will die on me whenever I make an average turn (left or right), or whenever the car is decreasing acceleration on a normal city street. However, I'm experiencing this mostly when my car is still heating up, so around the first 10mins of driving the vehicle after not touching it for 5+ hours. When my car stalls or shuts off, it still shows that the engine is on through the start engine button. However, I still need to put my car in park, and press the start engine button again while pressing on the gas to turn on my car again. When I do this, the car occasionally will struggle to turn on and sometimes it won't start up on the first try. In addition, I experience my car sounding an alert noise occasionally whenever I'm making a normal turn (when my car is fully heated up), but my car doesn't stall or shut off. Another issue that my car is experiencing is I can tell that my car is occasionally struggling to switch gears when I try to accelerate during while my car is in auto mode. From my understanding, there was a recall on my car model back in 2018 for a similar issue on the automatic transmission. However, my car was never recalled and it was never serviced for anything similar to the recall.

4 Transmission Noise problem of the 2015 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 02/05/2020

While my pregnant wife was driving to a doctors appointment, the 2015 Jeep Cherokee suddenly lost the ability to accelerate. The vehicle was traveling at 45mph when this event occurred. The Jeep finally slowed to a stop in the middle of the road. The engine continued to run, but the vehicle would not move. The vehicle was turned off and then turned on again. When placed in 'drive' the vehicle made a loud thud. When the vehicle was placed in 'park' it made a grinding noise. The vehicle's parking brake suddenly engaged and could not be turned off; this made it impossible to move the vehicle to the side of the road. We waited 30min for a tow truck to move the vehicle from the middle of the road to a firestone for evaluation. Firestone indicated that it was a problem with the transmission. We then had to tow the vehicle to whitten brothers Jeep dealership for evaluation. We were informed that the vehicle will likely not be covered by the powertrain warranty due to the time requirement. The 2015 Jeep Cherokee only has 83,000 miles. I bought this vehicle new in Jan 2016 and expected the vehicle to last 15-20 years. If my wife had been driving to work instead of a doctors appointment, she could have been stranded on the interstate with vehicles driving 65+ mph; this would have resulted in a serious accident with injuries to my wife and unborn child. This is a huge safety concern that Jeep is obviously not taking seriously.

5 Transmission Noise problem of the 2015 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 01/16/2020

After 10 days vehicle staying in my house not using I tried to start engine and my battery was down. Buy new battery and instal and when I start the engine I get on my dash bunch of warning lights on and message. 6 Transmission Noise problem of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 12/27/2019

When we started to accelerate the Jeep jerked into gear. We started to hear a clanking noise and sounded like a part was rattling. Since it did not sound good we pulled over and called a tow truck to tow it to the dealership nearest to us. After the inspection, the dealership told us that the ptu on our 2014 Jeep Cherokee was busted and the car is no longer able to be driven. Prior to this event we took the Jeep into another dealership several times telling them that when we accelerate it jerks into gear. They told us that three updates need to be done on the software of the vehicle. We were told that the updates has to do with the communication of the transmission and the parts that are involved when you accelerate the vehicle. After we completed the updates the Jeep drove smooth but then started jerking again shortly after. Now the cost of replacing the ptu is over $2000. We have read multiple forums and feedback from other 2014 Jeep Cherokee customers that have had the same problem. I have come to the conclusion that this is a manufacturer defect and this should be covered by Chrysler.

7 Transmission Noise problem of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 09/29/2019

I got my car mid June and after putting on about 4000 miles I started hearing and feeling some strange things with the transmission. Here is list of the issues I'm experiencing: after starting my car & putting it into gear (drive), I drive about 200 to 500 ft (at a max speed of 30mph) and I hear a grinding noise. The traffic light turns green I put my foot on the accelerator and sometimes it will start moving in low gear very slowly then it suddenly jerks and flies (as if it were trying to make up for its previous lack of response) recently when I went from reverse to drive (backing out a parking spot) the car went into low gear it took about 30 seconds for it to go back to normal ps I live in brooklyn NY.

8 Transmission Noise problem of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 05/13/2019

At around 1200 rpm and at about 30-40 mph, coming off the accelerator and then back on it results in a clunk type noise. It appears to be coming from the transmission. At times it is a slight noise, at other times it is quite loud. After 2 visits to the dealer and rising to level 2 at Jeeps customer service no one can offer a fix. Jeep customer service says the transmission will self calibrate and the noise will go away. Almost 2000 miles on the vehicle and it hasn't self calibrated yet.

9 Transmission Noise problem of the 2015 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 05/01/2019

The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. When the contact parked the vehicle, it failed to restart. When the contact made another attempt, the vehicle restarted. The failure occurred several times. The contact also stated that when the vehicle was in any gear, it jerked and made a loud noise. Also, the transmission indicator blinked on and off. On another occasion, when the vehicle was started, the rpms increased very high without the accelerator pedal being pressed. Jim browne Chrysler Jeep Dodge ram of dade city (12020 us-301, dade city, FL 33525, (352) 353-0704) advised that the vehicle be brought in for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer agreed with the dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 50,000.

10 Transmission Noise problem of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 06/20/2018

Within a 2 weeks after I bought the Jeep, while driving my brand new Jeep Cherokee trail-rated, going over speed bumps at a very low speed 3-5 miles ph, I heard a grinding noise coming from the transmission. Took the Jeep back to the dealer and was advised that the manufacturer, Chrysler, had installed a brand new type of transmission, they found no problems at this time. Again within 2 days, I had to bring the Jeep back to the dealer and this time I was advised that the technician validated my concerns and performed a transmission quick learn 5060 wc90. Part # count: claim type w. In order words my complaint was valid. Another week later, again brought my Jeep to the dealer and two days later I received a phone call from the dealer telling me that they couldn't find the noise and for me to come to the dealership and drive my Jeep with the manager in order to reproduce the noise. I am not making up the noise but now after the validated the fact that there was a manufacturer problem due to the fact that it is a new transmission, now they can't find the noise, there is most definitely a serious problem and there are no recalls at this time for this problem. I anybody has a similar issues, please let everybody know!!!!!!.

11 Transmission Noise problem of the 2015 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 03/28/2018

I have been having issues with what I assume is the transmission. When stopped on an incline, when I go to accelerate the whole front of the vehicle bucks and makes lots of noise. It sounds like gears are grinding and it is fighting to get traction. Also, when back up my driveway it feels like the rear wheels are slipping and fight to get traction as well. It started to happen when driving down the highway on a flat surface at like 30 mph as well. I have already taken it to a dealership where they performed a software update on the transmission. It has not fixed the problem, but has made it less frequent. I have already taken it back to the dealership again. The vehicle is still under the powertrain warranty. I have taken videos of the problem occuring.

12 Transmission Noise problem of the 2018 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 03/06/2018

Transmission randomly does not want to go in the right gear. The vehicle then feels like it is almost stopping and jerking hard while the vehicle then finds the correct gear and starts working properly again a weird noise also seems to randomly come for the engine or transmission. I have not been able to find a trigger or what makes the transmission do this, it seems completely random. I have taken it to two different dealerships and both said they could not duplicate the problem. The second time I took it in they took it on a test drive said they heard the noise and kept my vehicle overnight, the next day he called and said nothing is wrong don't worry about it. As we were leaving the dealership another service advisor came up and stated that they have several complaints about this and they do not know how to fix the issue so they are all advised to state they can not duplicate the problem so that people do not start returning their cars. He also stated to file a compliant so that Chrysler will do something about the issues with the transmissions.

14 Transmission Noise problem of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 01/25/2018

While trying to start the Jeep I placed my foot on the brakes and pressed the start/stop button the vehicle jerked then made a loud noise followed by what felt like something dropped out from underneath. It then died and the symbol of fault popped up on the screed. It stated that there was wrong with the transmission. Now the vehicle will not start. It was serviced and had two safety recalls completed this month.

15 Transmission Noise problem of the 2016 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 12/09/2017

The transmission slams into gear when re-accelerating. (usually at lower speeds) sometimes the rpm's will increase but the vehicle will not move forward. (this can be dangerous when you need to get up to speed safely. ) there is also a minor clicking noise when the air conditioner is turned on. (mostly just annoying).

16 Transmission Noise problem of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 08/14/2017

October 19, 2017 originally we had keep the car in the garage and rarely drove it until this past summer when we took a planned road trip to western national parks we had never seen. We had the car checked at the dealership prior to the trip and no issues were brought up. The car had less than 25,000 miles then during the trip we noticed issues with the transmission and brakes. We took the car to a Jeep dealership and told it would get us home. We turned the car into the tacoma Jeep dealership @ 30,000 miles and determined that the warranty took care of the transmission we were given a rental car and the repairs took over a month. Today I drove our 2014 Jeep Cherokee for the first time since my wife brought it home from the dealership after a transmission replacement due to defective design. I drove to the post office and returned. The transmission is still acting like it has a mind of its own, but during the return trip while in an intersection making a left turn to the hy 16 on ramp. The car acted like the engine had died, (absolutely no response from the transmission) for about 7 seconds and seemed like an eternity, trying to determine what to do with oncoming traffic. The transmission finally engaged and I was able to clear the intersection. This brings the cars reliability and safety into sever question. This incident also brings into question wither a repair was made to the design of the transmission had been accomplished if any. I also noticed on inspection while the vehicle was running from outside of the engine compartment that what sounds like an exhaust leek and a higher noise level than when the fairly new car (30,000 miles)was turned in for repair.

17 Transmission Noise problem of the 2015 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 08/01/2017

Tl the contact owns a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. While driving at an unknown speed, the contact heard an abnormal noise and the gears felt as if they had slipped. The vehicle was taken to larry h. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge ram albuquerque (8528 lomas blvd ne, albuquerque, mn 87110, 505-404-0108) where it was diagnosed that the transmission was inoperable. The vehicle was repaired, but the symptoms recurred. The dealer diagnosed the vehicle again, but could not duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was 22,600.

18 Transmission Noise problem of the 2017 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 07/03/2017

Vehicle started making noise 2 weeks after bought it! it makes a whiny grinding noise. I would back out and when I straighten wheel to go forward, there it is! at first, this only happened once or twice a day then it was doing it constantly. It even occasionally whines while driving down highway. My other issue is chirping in motor. At my first scheduled maintenance, I informed dealership of problems with various noises. I was told that chirping "was a pulley and even though it was an annoying issue and no safety issue and since it was Friday afternoon and I lived so far away I could take it to a dealership closer to my home". I took it to another dealership for problems. I was told noises were from excessive road salt. I laughed and told advisor that I know he goes by what his tech tells him but we live in nc and there wss no salt in July. I didn't care what caused it, I just wanted it fixed. All seemed well until the next day when it all started again! back to shop once again. . . . . . After couple of days, dealership called with some news. They decided my Jeep with 9000 miles needs a transmission. Fast forward a week and half, no news. No word from dealership, had to calll to get update and looks like almost another week before I might get her back. Not a happy Jeep owner.

21 Transmission Noise problem of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 05/02/2017

I bought the car brand new. In the 2 and half years I've had it, the transmission has failed more times than I can count. Usually it fails while I'm in traffic and my car just suddenly looses power accompanied with loud banging noises and a "service transmission" warning indicator is shown. Most of the time I can regain power by cycling the ignition, but sometimes cannot. It has been to the dealer service dozens of times for this problem. A few times they are able to reproduce the problem and have replaced parts and updated the computer code. The latest service appointment to fix this problem was in March 2017. The dealer claimed to have found the problems that they fixed before returning the car to me after several days. But the problem continues. Yesterday (may 2, 2017) I was on the highway going the speed limit of 70 mph in moderate traffic when the problem suddenly occurred again. I was nearly struck by several other cars because no one expected me to stop in the middle of a 3 lane high-speed highway and there was no way for me to coast by the semi-trucks to my right or the cars to my left. After cycling the ignition, the warning message cleared and the car returned to an drivable state so I was able to drive to a safe location and check my car. As it has so many times before, I could not reproduce the problem at that time and the car seemed fine once again. We have called Jeep directly on this too. They can see the cars record of the transmission service repairs, but otherwise they are not helpful.

22 Transmission Noise problem of the 2015 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 04/11/2017

One morning I started the car, I heard water moving from the engine area. While, driving the car I heard a noise's like a pressure cooker sounds. Once I arrived at work I walked around to the passage side to retrieve my staff. I could smelled antifreeze. I contacted Jeep right away and they contact a tow company. It was drop off. The dealership worked on it for a couple days. They did pressure test for external leak, didn't locate a leak. They didn't do a internal examine. It's 2 year old vehicles already leaking antifreeze. I have my vehicle into the dealership twice but still smell antifreeze. Two pressure test later nothing. I just pickup my vehicle for the second time. Why is Jeep vehicles having so many problem. My psi, transmission and radio making sounds when its off. Jeep is a bad vehicle and it just a matter of time, humans might be in damage due to the uncaring manufacturing company that makes lot's of money of the back of working americans.

23 Transmission Noise problem of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 03/29/2017

Tl- the contact owns a 2014 Jeep trailhawk. The contact while his daughter was driving at unknown speed the vehicle made an abnormal noise and stalled with warning. 24 Transmission Noise problem of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 03/19/2017

Two issues with my car, first the transmission failed while driving 70 mph. The car messaged "service transmission immediately" and began to decelerate. I had no control of this process. The abs light came on and luckily I made it off the road. Secondly and independently the brakes make a loud grinding noise when the abs is engaged. The dealer was perplexed by both issues. Cannot tell me what is wrong and assures me my car is acting normally.

25 Transmission Noise problem of the 2015 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 02/19/2017

Service light for transmission will illuminate when on the expressway. If you slow down car will jerk and make a loud clunk noise. When resuming acceleration this noise has to happen. The light goes off at times.

26 Transmission Noise problem of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 09/13/2016

We purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee limited, 4wd w/active drive 2 in January 2014. When we purchased this vehicle, we traded in a GMC terrain. We were certain that the Jeep was going to be a fantastic purchase, knowing the reputation of Jeep. We have had nothing but what I'd call serious problems with the transmission. Every time I take it in for an oil change, I mention it, and they do "software updates. " each software update that has been done has not corrected the problem still. All it's done is created a different problem. There have now been 5 recalls on this vehicle, 1 of which hasn't been taken care of yet because Jeep hasn't come up with a replacement part, so I'm stuck with a rental renegade that is nowhere near comparable to my Cherokee limited 4wd, for an "unspecified amount of time. " my steering column makes a grinding noise louder than a 40 year old truck. The dealership told me that it was a normal sound. No vehicle I've ever driven has sounded like this, especially one that cost me $40,000!!!.

27 Transmission Noise problem of the 2016 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 09/01/2016

The contact owns a 2016 Jeep Cherokee. While operating the vehicle, it failed to accelerate while driving between 5-25 mph. After easing off the accelerator pedal, a thumping noise was heard from the transmission. The contact also indicated that a humming noise under the vehicle was present while driving over 50 mph. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but the failure could not be duplicated. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 100.

28 Transmission Noise problem of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 08/29/2016

2014 Jeep Cherokee (kl) 8/29/2016 while my wife was driving down a busy hwy the vehicle stalled and lost all power. She had to coast into a local firestation lot and park the vehicle. The screen said put car in park and restart. She did it did nothing. Then the screen said service transmission and restart. The 2nd time she did it started and when she put the vehicle into drive it made a loud clunk noise and shook the car. We drove it to the dealer and the code showed the clutches were seized. The dealer said per Chrysler to reset the code do updates and test drive and see if the code comes back on. After they drove it 50 miles they said it was good to go and couldnt duplicate it. Well today 9/19/2016 it did it again the exact same thing. This time my wife had the kids in the vehicle on a busy hwy. Called dealer took it to them and now cars deemed unsafe and thee issued us a rental cover by Chrysler. But they are not sure what the problem is and have no time frame or whats wrong with vehicle. Something is wrong with this vehicle as this happen twice in less than a month.

29 Transmission Noise problem of the 2015 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 08/10/2016

While driving on a main blvd the Jeep suddenly locked up much like the e-brake being appled, lots of weird noises. Dash lit up with check transmission, brakes, and engine warnings. Almost caused a major accident. Turned car off, let it reset and was able to continue. Happened again three days later. Had Jeep towed to dealer. This car is a death trap. Working on a resolution with dealer.

30 Transmission Noise problem of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 07/12/2016

The contact owns a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. While driving and making right or left turns, the transmission made a knocking noise. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v529000 (power train) and stated that the part needed for the repair was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 17,110. Parts distribution disconnect.

31 Transmission Noise problem of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 06/08/2016

06/08/16 I was on my way to work when 2 houses down my vehicle suddenly wouldn't go and shut down and said "service transmission" "service park brake" "pull car over and put in p then desired gear. " the check engine light and traction control light also came on and would not go away. I restarted the car multiple times and was finally able to get it moved off the road. The steering was difficult and when I put the vehicle in drive it made a loud noise and would't move. I put the car in drive and when I pressed the gas pedal the vehicle moved in reverse rather than forward. I put it in park again and restarted until I was able to get it back into my driveway. The messages about the parking brake and transmission had went away but check engine and traction control would not go off. After getting it back home I called Chrysler to have them send a tow truck to take the vehicle to the dealership as this is a huge safety hazard to be on the road. Upon arriving to the dealership, I asked for a loaner vehicle. After an hour wait I was informed that no loaners were available and had to rent a vehicle from enterprise (paid $50 out of pocket for deposit), because they wanted a transmission specialist look at it and his schedule was booked. Before leaving, I was shown 12 codes that had popped up. The following day 06/09/16, I called Chrysler's corporate office to see what options could be done to make this right as this is the 4th time total and 3rd in a 30 day window with transmission issues. They called the dealership and were informed that the dealership has tried to fix the issue but cannot find a solution to fix the issues I am having. Corporate responded with saying that I would be given a case manager to handle my issues and they would contact me in the next 48 hours.

32 Transmission Noise problem of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 06/05/2016

06/05/16 I was stopped at a light and when it turned green I began to go on the ramp for the highway and suddenly it wouldn't go and shut down and said "service transmission" "service park brake" "pull car over and put in p then desired gear. " the check engine light and traction control light also came on and would not go away. I was almost rear ended because of this issue and was in the middle of the ramp not able to move my vehicle. I restarted the car multiple times and was finally able to get it moved off the road. The steering was difficult and when I put the vehicle in drive it made a loud noise and would't move. I put the car in park again and restarted until I was able to get it off the road. The messages about the parking brake and transmission had went away but check engine and traction control would not go off. It was a late Sunday afternoon and the dealership was closed so I had to wait until the next day to bring it in to the dealership. I took it first thing Monday morning (06/06/16) and sat there waiting for 4 hours until the service advisor came and told me my Jeep needed some updates and the lever on the transmission was loose and they had to tighten it was fixed and everything was good to go. Drove the vehicle straight home no issues and my husband drove it to work the following day with no issues reported. Day 2 after repairs the same issues came back.

33 Transmission Noise problem of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 03/25/2016

My Jeep was traveling at 55 mph on a state road when it lost power and had to be steared/coast to the side of the road. Had we been on an interstate this would have caused an accident, injury or death. The dealer claims nothing is wrong with the car and ready to release it to me today 3/29/16 to continue driving as a safe vehicle. In addition, the entire dashboard electronics had to be replaced at 8800 miles, the wiper blades fail, stall, or go off the side frame off the windshield during use causing hazardous driving conditions and reduced visibility, , the key remote fails (not due to dead battery) , the bluetooth reliability is intermittent which nulls the hands-free option for phone use while driving, the front and rear defrost did not work causing reduced visibility while driving in early morning hours and was repaired or replaced at 8800 miles, a rotational squeal was reported at 8800 miles and dealer claimed they could not duplicate. 5 months later, the noise continued. After I wrote them directions and sat with them, they replaced a faulty water pump on 4/21/15. The heat deflector shield and the resonator was replaced on 5/21. The car was towed to the dealer after the recent transmission failure. I will not drive the car again and risk the safety of my family or others.

34 Transmission Noise problem of the 2016 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 01/01/2016

I have taken my 2016 Jeep Cherokee into the service department multiple time to have them diagnose the hesitation in the transmission, jerking into gear ( from 1st to second gear, but most of the time from 2nd to 3rd gear) and a loud clacking noise that appears to come from the bottom of the car. According to 2 different Jeep/Chrysler dealership service department that I have taken my Cherokee to be diagnose, they can't find what is wrong with the transmission and they did not expirience the jerking on the transmission during driving. They did informed me that the clacking sound coming from the bottom of the car is the catalytic converter when it gets hot makes a clacking noise, but they have no fix for it. The dealers claim they are waiting for the Jeep inc. To come out with a fix. As if that's acceptable to force your customer to drive a noisy, hesitating brand new car. I am dumbfounded with how the dealerships Jeep / Chrysler keep sweeping this issue under the rug hoping it will go away. Time to find a solution.

35 Transmission Noise problem of the 2015 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 09/27/2015

I've had the computer recall update. When driving the transmission will jerk and make a loud noise this happens when the car is in motion and can happen at any speed. It does not happen every time I drive but happens enough to be a concern.
