The car is a 2003 Honda Accord. During driving in freeway speeds experience shaking steering wheel and took it to the dealer. They told me it was a balence, that did not correct the problem. I came back the following week later, told them to check my brakes because I thought that was the problem it turns out that they were warped. The dealer replaced the pads and turned the rotors but told that it was a one time only under warranty, and that it happend because of my driving and my constant braking, that made me upset because they questioned how I drive. This has never happend to me under just a year of use I strongly disagree. This air brake drum shoes/linings issue occurred May. 18, 2004.

Bought the 2003 Jeep Liberty brand new in may, 2003. Now a year and seven months later, we still have squealing brakes. The dealer in wichita has replaced the pads 2 or 3 times, and re-surfaced the pads once or twice. They've now decided that they will need to replace the back brakes, including the roters. These parts have been ordered, and we are waiting to have this work done. Additionally, the automatic transmission started downshifting hard from 3rd gear to second gear, and down to first gear. They replaced some parts in the transmission, and this problem appears to be fixed. We'll see! they blamed the rusting brakes to "humidity". . . The car now has only 7,200 miles on it, and has been kept inside the garage every night of it's existence. The dealer claims that all the squealing and rusting of the brakes are due to the "humidity" in the air. We live in the exact middle of the us in kansas. There's not a lot of moisture in the air inside of my attached garage. This brake problem has been ongoing from mid 2003 to the present time in December of 2004. The car only has a little over 7000 miles on it. . . The dealer said that "the problems might go down if we would drive the car more often. " we would not recommend a Jeep Liberty to anyone we like. This air brake drum shoes/linings issue occurred Jun. 10, 2003.

The vehicle was a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The VIN of this vehicle is 1J4GW38SX2_. The rotors in my Grand Cherokee have failed early on my 2002. I had to have them replaced--under 5000 miles--then at 22000 they failed again and this time they cut them down--now at 35000, I have to have them replaced. These are Chrysler / mopar parts--this is a Jeep--like a truck--so why is this a problem--not only I have had this problem--when speaking with fullerton, in somerville NJ, I was told by the service manager that it has been a problem and even his wife's Jeep did it--however since he replaced with a non Chrysler/mopar part, he has not seen any continuing problems. I feel that these parts are defective and since this is the 3rd time of this happening, I am annoyed. I called the Chrysler consumer line and I was told that if I had called before the vehicle was repaired, that maybe some of the cost could have been adjusted--this is after the fact- can anything be done?. This problem occurred on Mar. 16, 2005.

The vehicle involved is a 1999 Lexus Es300. My brakes constantly squeaks. This has been an on-going problem for the last several months. The manufacturer had a factory person come check my brakes last month on 12/12/02 and didn't detect a problem. My brakes are squeaking and I feel there is a problem. I had their loaner same model and different year-the
brakes didn't squeak at all. I would like to get to the bottom of this problem. Can this be a possible defect or malfunction. Is it safe my car to squeak constantly whenever I step on the brakes in any kind of weather. It was Sep. 1, 2002 when this air brake drum shoes/linings issue occurred.

The vehicle identification number (VIN) of the car was 4T3ZF13CXY_. I purchased a Toyota Sienna new in 4/2000. Within a few months the brakes began to squeak every time I braked. The local dealership has told me countless Sienna's from 1998-2003 have experienced this. Toyota tried a fix that worked 8 months. It is a shame that you pay $30,000 for a vehicle and the CO. Will not stand behind it. The failure date was Saturday, July 15, 2000.
