We had the recall work done and actually had a problem with the passenger side fog light being dislodged whenever we took it in . As far as we knew, the problems were corrected. At any rate, we are now concerned with the safety issue of these fog lights. When we contacted Mazda customer service, we were told that they had not heard of any Mpv actually catching on fire and have proceeded to "create a file" on our issue. Would really like some feedback on why we were the ones who happened to experience a fire. We have the old parts and have a claim going with usaa. At this point, we are rather leary about driving a van that may catch on fire again. Please help us get the word out on this hazard. This fog lights problem happened on 08/25/03.
