The vehicle is a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu. Bought this car from a Nissan dealer as a used car in June 2012, it is the lt ve model. The problem while turning left with acceleration the steering wheel jerks right, at times it can be jerked out of the hands (depends on acceleration speed), also a clunking noise from left front wheel at times (with or without engine running). Sometimes while driving at 55 mph or better, taking a left handed curve, steering will become stiff and hard to turn. This has not caused any accidents yet but it could in the future resulting in serious injuries or death. It was Aug. 15, 2012 when this unknown or other issue occurred.

The rear adhesive on my 2005 Chrysler Crossfire roadsters rear window, that holds it to the soft top convertible, has begun to detach. I have called Chrysler about the issue and they explained that my vehicle was not covered by the warranty and they will not assist. This is a huge safety concern for me because the window could detach while driving and possibly cause harm and/or death to other drivers on the roadway. I found a service bulletin on the issue with a bulletin # sb-23035-11reva that recommends that the convertible top be inspected and/or replaced if defective. Chrysler is not helping at all with this serious safety issue to help me fix it and make my vehicle safe for myself, and the others around me. I am a member of Crossfireforum. Org and there are many other people with this issue that have either gotten it replaced by Chrysler for free, or paid a CO-pay to help them fix the problem, but I was offered neither for this extremely unsafe issue my vehicle has. Please help me in any way that you can. The failure date was September 5, 2012.

I was able to pull to the side of the road and shut the car down. Waited a few minutes car started up and I gave it some gas it went for a few minutes and then the car sputtered and all the lights came on and car stopped. The vehicle identification number (VIN) of the car was 1FAFP55U81_. My Ford Taurus 1st broke down on the interstate. I was on my way taking my kids to chuck e. Cheese. It ran hot out of the blue. After that I got it towed, I did replace the motor, had the transmission worked on, replace many sensors, replaced the fuel filter, replaced the fuel pump, the sensor of the air condition. I have replaced almost everything on that car from the time I bought it in 07 until 2010. And its still not running. Its parked they are saying its something with the transmission again. I have spent so much money in that piece of junk Ford. I feel they should fix the transmission this time and give me some of money back for all the repairs. And for the record my dates are estimated because I just parked and it and stop keeping up with it. Just plain ole got tired. That car took me broke. I finally had to bow down and go get another 1 with payments as last resort. For me and my 2 little girls 1 of them whom is disabled. Unknown Or Other problem of GMC Sierra 2500
The car is a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 hd. Exhaust manafold bolts are breaking off for no apparent reason. I have four broken already and an exhaust leak developing. This appears to be a defect in manufacturing. I have a friend with two of the same trucks that the same thing has happened to. There are numerous complaints posted on the web. I have had many vehicals over the years and worked them hard but have never seen a broken exhaust manafold bolt on any of them. This can be a dangerous situation as having exhaust leaks under hood could cause a fire. As far as I know gm has not issued a bulletin or recall on this but there should be some remediation as this is an expensive repair and it is not a failure caused by the lack of maintenance. I have also heard reports of repaired units breaking again in about the same number of miles and having to be repaired again. It was February 1, 2012 when this unknown or other issue happened.

The car was a 2007 GMC Yukon. I have consulted with many others who have experienced this issue as well. General motors fails to acknowledge that there's a quality concern or that there's a potential safety concern with these vehicles. This not only affects GMC Yukons, but Chevrolet tahoes and suburbans as well. The dash board is made of hard but brittle plastic. The dash boards tend to crack over time, especially near the passenger air bag opening, leaving sharp "dagger like" pieces of dash board material loose. In the event of an airbag deployment, there's a risk of these pieces being propelled by the air bag and injuring occupants of the vehicle. I've heard of this affecting vehicles from as little as 1 year old. General motors has refused to acknowledge the issue and has blatantly stated that if it were a safety problem, "the government would do something about it". Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. This unknown or other problem happened on Aug. 1, 2012.

I have researched this as an on-going issue since 2009. I believe this is a defective part on the vehicle. Quote to fix this "blemish" is over 2k. Acura will only pay 50% I must pay the other $1000. I believe Acura should have this replaced. Airbag light turns on and off. Hoping this has nothing to do with the crack in the dashboard. Something needs to be done. It was Friday, Sep. 28, 2012 when this unknown or other issue occurred.

The vehicle involved is a 2004 Honda Pilot. Pulled vehicle into a service shop. Turned off vehicle and removed key from ignition to take key off ring for technician. Vehicle was not in park but still in drive even though I was able to remove key. A minute after leaving vehicle car rolled down slight incline and into and across 3 lanes of busy 40mph traffic. Two vehicles slammed on their brakes amazingly missing broadsiding the vehicle. A second change in the timing would have certainly resulted in three car accident and potentially serious injuries. This problem occurred on October 25, 2012.

The vehicle involved is a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe. Crash was involved with this problem. The VIN of the problem Santa Fe is 5NMSH13E38_. The are three layers of floor covering on this vehicle. The first is the wall to wall carpet. The second is a floor mat, made of carpet material which is securely anchored to the floor of the vehicle. The third layer of floor covering is a thick rubber mat. The rubber mat rests atop the carpeted floor mat unanchored. It slides around on top of the carpeted floor mat and prevents a severe hazard because it occasionally lodges itself under the accelerator pedal, causing the pedal to jam. This danger can be extreme because when the gas pedal jams in an intermediate throttle setting, it lengthens the stopping distance and has been known to cause a traffic accident. This issue happened on 09/14/12.

I was driving on major hwy thru ms about 4 in the afternoon temps about 90-95 speed limit is 70mph that was my approx speed , there was 1 car about 1/2 mile ahead of me 1 car behind me , then kaboom, my sun roof exploded, glass was everywhere, if there were any other cars on that road there would have been a major accident as I was all over both lanes. I took my car to the dealership where I bought it, they said "a rock hit my sunroof" sorry, wilson there is a very slim chance that a rock was in the air, and even a slimmer chance it would hit my sunroof, that just didn't happen, this is a defect in the car design and needs to be corrected before someone gets hurt or killed, Hyundai needs to step up and recall, and dealerships need to apologize for treating people like . . . . . . Unusually high amount of, rust & corrosion (large rotted out holes) on exterior front fenders, both driver side and passenger. I beleive it is related to most recent recal in regards to front wheel wells in high salt locations of the country. Dealer would not fix the rust, when I went in for that recall. No other rust on vehicle, only those areas of front fenders, which happen to be right next to defective wheels well / strut housing area, that was the reason for the most recent recall!
the rust / corrosion, is on the identical location on each fender! I am no expert, but based on the extreme amount of bubbling of the paint it is obvious the corrosion started on the underside of both fenders and worked its way out to the exterior. The car was a 2005 Jeep Liberty. The vehicle's vehicle identification number (VIN) was 1J4GK48K95_. First the drivers rear regulator failed, causing the window to fall and break inside the door. I replaced both the window and the regulator. Six months later the passenger rear regulator failed and the window dropped in the door. This time it did not break the glass. Just a month after the warenty on the driver rear expired, it failed again. Now I have no working back windows. The service manager at the local dealership ackowledged this as an issue but stated there is no recall. He recomended that I take it up whith Chrysler. They claim it the problem exists but not with this year. They told me because I did not buy it new nor use the dealership for my service they would not help. With the glass breaking this is more than an inconvenience, it is dangerous. Chrysler knows this is an issue and is ripping people off by charging them over $400. 00 to replace these with parts that will fail again. The car involved was a 2007 Kia Motor Sedona. The drivers side automatic door doesnt open at all now when you push the button inside. It acts like it is catching on something so it doesnt open. If you pull the handle, outside, it sometimes will finish opening or closing by itself. But you have to give it that pull to get it past the catching point. You never know if it will run automaticly or if you have to manually pull the door open, its like it shuts off or on. If you have to open it manually inside , you really have to push against the door hard to open it up. When you pull it manually it pulls easier, outside, than if you had the auto turned off. But we dont have the problem with it popping open while driving. Just pops out of the latch sometimes when it does auto close and it beeps and lets you know the door isnt completely closed. Just started having the passenger side starting to catch a little bit now, but it does completely run automaticlly once you give it a little help. Havent taken it in because the warranty is done and cant afford to pay possibly hundreds to fix it. The failure date was March 1, 2011.

I see that thousands of people have had this problem with a defective manufacture part. My mechanic said that this was the first proportioning valve he has seen completely destroyed like this in 10+ years. This is happening to thousands of people. I have wrote all news stations about this and I am pursuing this aggressively. You all recalled the 2004-2007 proportioning valves then it should be for the earlier models as well. On 10/16/12 truck started smoking took it to the mechanic, he suggested to take it to the dealer to fix a recall for the vehicle speed control switch. On 10/17/12 dealer auto shop requested we take the car the next day to get fixed. On 10/18/12 around 9am while truck was parked it started smoking and then it caught fire. The whole front of the car was burned including the interior. It was Oct. 18, 2012 when this unknown or other issue occurred.

The vehicle is a 2004 Mercedes Benz E320. Vehicle identification number (VIN) of the vehicle is WDBUF65J84_. My 2004 Mercedes Benz e-320 began emitting a strong odor of gasoline in 2010 and was taken to the local dealership (schumacher mercedes in scottsdale, arizona) for inspection when it was determined that there was a leak in the fuel tank and that it needed to be replaced along with the left sender pressure sensor and tank fittings. The vehicle had approximately 60,000 miles at this time and was outside of the initial warranty so the $2,500 repair was undertaken. Approximately 2 years later and 40,000 miles later, the same symptoms returned and the vehicle was taken back to the same dealership for inspection. It was determined once again that the same problem was occurring and the fuel level sensors were leaking fuel and needed to be replaced again. The cost for this repair was estimated to be $1,200 and this time the repair was rejected. The service advisor at the dealership claimed this is a common problem with these cars and there was nothing they could do about it. The vehicle had always been maintained by the dealership since the beginning and apparently there have been no recalls issued that we were aware of for these malfunctions and defects. I have contacted mercedes corporate office and they opened up an investigation only to determine that the dealership acknowledged the problem with the vehicles but neither party was willing to accept responsibility for the defect and no additional assistance would be available or commissioned for me. This is a major safety issue and should not be considered a common issue or routine maintenance for any car, let alone a Mercedes Benz. If something does not get rectified with this epidemic malfunction of these vehicles, it could lead to a major accident or even death. It was Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010 when this unknown or other issue occurred.

The vehicle involved is a 2005 Mercedes Benz E55. The vehicle identification number (VIN) of the car was WDBUF76J45_. In the original instance, which happened about 3 years ago, every time that I would do a complete fill up with gas, the car would smell like gas horribly in the cabin as well as outside the car. After that started happening, I refrained from filling the car up completely to avoid the problem. The problem has returned and my car has roughly 132000 miles on it. I filled up my car and noticed a horrible gas smell. I looked under the car and noticed very large puddles of gas literally running away from my car. My car is leaking gas profusely only upon complete fill up. It is coming from beneath the car under what would be the rear passenger's seat, nearly in line with the rear wheels. This item was supposedly repaired once before by the mercedes dealership in bakersfield, CA. I paid for the entire repair if I remember correctly. This problem occurred on Wed., Oct. 3, 2012.

I bought Nissan Altima 2003 on August 20 2012. I drove it around 800 miles and did oil change at lube express they changed oil at 67290 miles, after driving for around 200 miles car was making wiered noice from engine. I got help of a local mechanic, he confirmed that there was no engine oil in the car !!! he put full 5 quart engine oil. I again got it inspected at lube express, they also confirmed there was no leakage. The third refill does not last for long. After 3 days again 5 quart engine oil was disappeared from engine. I again got it inspected at Nissan dealership on 10/09/2012 they also confirmed that there was no oil leaks and they did burning oil consumption test, again there was no engine oil in the car. They had suggested me to change entire engine!!!. I can not drive car at all. The engine may caught fire !!! I surfed lot of websites and found that in Nissan Altima 2003, lots of people have experienced the problem and it had occured after 60,000 miles I. E. After warranty expires and same happened with me as well. I complained at Nissan but they replied that they can not do anything since warranty expires. When I looked out the window I saw that our 8 month old 2011 Nissan Pathfinder le was on fire in our driveway. This fire was so intense that the entire passenger compartment of the vehicle was engulfed with 15-20 ft high flames. We had not driven the car in 2 days and there had been zero after market modifications or major mechanical done on the vehicle. The vehicle having this issue was a 2006 SAAB 9-3 sports sedan. The front driver coil spring broke and the broken end of the coil was pressed against the side wall of the tire. When the tire was removed a 1/4" deep gouge was observed in the side wall. This incident happened while parked, I noticed a loud bang and a strange noise while the vehicle was moving. I immediately removed the tire to check for problems and found the broken spring and gouge. If this occured on the highway (my commute is app 80 miles round trip) it could have easily punctured the tire and caused a more serious problem. Or left me stranded in an unsafe location. Car without warning suddenly stopped, as if it had shifted into first gear and I had slammed on the brakes. When I pressed on gas the car would not move but did make revving sounds. I looked at gear shift and it was no longer in drive. I think it was in manual. I doubt I had accidentally moved the gear shift because I was not moving around in my seat and I was driving straight, not turning the steering wheel. This car is an automatic (cvt). The car is a 2002 Suzuki xl-7. VIN of the vehicle was JS3TX92V82_. Ac compressor went out twice in my 2002 Suzuki xl-7. Once in August 2009 and again in may 2012. I had to have it replaced twiced because it was a pretty hot summer. It assume if the car last another few years, I will have to replace it again. How annoying! also, after the summer months, during the winter months when I need to turn on the heat, the service engine light comes on. I got this tested and it had to do with the ac compresssor. This makes sense because the xl-7 compressor is dual. It's runs ac and heat. Power steerling has been leaking for the past year. I would add power steering fluid every two weeks or so. But now it's progressively gotten worse. I have to add fluid every other day. Front and back bumper is displaying corrosion. It looks like the metal hinges that hold up the bumpers are wearing and you can see it. This car was not built to last. I forsee many more issues. It was Saturday, August 1, 2009 when this unknown or other issue occurred.

Crash was involved with this problem. On October 24, 2012, I parallel parked my 2003 Toyota Camry on the street. The car in front of me was leaving, so he asked me to move back a few inches so he could get out. My car was still running so I shifted the car into reverse, and as I began to take my foot off the brake pedal, my car accelerated backwards at a very fast speed into the car behind me. Wanting to pull up a few inches to get out and assess the damage, I shifted the car into drive and as I did, my car accelerated forwards into the parked car in front of me. It accelerated at such a high speed that it pushed the three cars in front of me together. At no point during these two rapid accelerations did I ever apply my foot to the gas pedal. This incident caused damage to several cars and could have ended up with much more severe consequences had I not been in that location. This unknown or other problem happened on 10/24/12.

I did some research to find that this is a very common problem with Volvos. I read stories on multiple forums that were very similar to mine. My children and I were put into a potentially life threatening situation that easily could have been avoided had there been a recall on the ignition switch. The vehicle involved was a 2003 Audi A4. 1. Exterior lights and turn signal lights burning out at a rate of every 500 miles. Audi will not replace. 2. Wiper transmission has corroded, seized, failed, and consequently burned out the wiper motor 2x now - once at 40,000 miles and again at 80,000. Audi would not cover this under the initial new car warranty, and they demand $750+ to fix this faulty assembly. 3. Coolant and wiper fluid tanks are made out of cheap plastic. I've had 2-3 leaks in each tank due to holes in these tanks across the life of the car. The most recent coolant tank leak was pushing coolant through so fast that it burned up my engine and my timing belt snapped. I had to pay for this repair - $2,000+. These are just 3 problems among countless costly problems I've incurred since the 3-year warranty ran out on my Audi. I've easily matched the $35k+ cost of the car with parts and repairs, and the car only has 88,000 miles on it. The coil pack recall has been an issue at least every 2,000 miles. I cannot make a trip of more than 100 miles without a coil snapping, a trip to the dealership, and an argument with service reps about whether or not I have to pay for these coil repairs. 88,000 miles later, the A4 I purchased brand new is basically not safely drivable except to run short errands around the city. All of this is not even to mention the cheap materials that went into the car interior. Leather is wearing in places no one even sits, and all the rubberized buttons have peeled away. Please help. Audi will do nothing. I've spoken to others who have this same make and model sitting in a garage because it is no longer drivable. There are 2 known recalls on this car, but there is something more serious going on with the build than just the coil pack and fuel injector. My car has stalled and seized on relatively short highway trips despite routine maintenance and attention to recalled parts. The failure date was Apr. 1, 2007.

After a few seconds my car regained power. 45 minutes later, I made a right turn into heavy traffic and then felt a sudden lurch. I looked in the rear view mirror and saw that my trunk had popped open. I managed to get off the highway, parked the car and turned off the ignition. I got out, closed the trunk, got back in the car, and fastened my seatbelt. Before I could close the door, the trunk popped open again. This occurred three times before the trunk finally stayed closed. A few minutes later, I parked the car, opened the door, started to get out and the warning chime sounded. I got back in and saw that the ¿p� on the console shift lever that indicates your car is in park was lit up even though the car was turned off. In order to get the ¿p� light to go off, I had to restart my car and then turn it off again. Next I pushed the onstar phone button and asked to ¿call my home�. I got a busy signal. I called a second time and my husband at the number I was calling, heard me telling onstar ¿call my home� but I couldn't hear him trying to talk to me. All of these things happened within 1 1/2 hours. The next day, I found that I could not lock the door by touching the lock spot on the outside door handle. Then I could not unlock the car door by pulling on the door handle when the key was in my pocket. I have had the car for 1 year and eight months and the driver¿s memory seat has often lost its memory. Sometimes just one button but most of the time both buttons. Prior to this I had been having trouble with my trunk. I'd leave my car parked in a public parking lot and come out to find my trunk wide open.
