Stabilitrack and traction control lights flash. Sometimes after these lights flash, my vehicle will go into "reduced power mode" on its on which is very dangerous going 65 mph or pulling out from somewhere. 3. My wipers work when they want to. . . Ever since the two recalls Chevrolet released, the work intermittently when they want to. 4. Major electrical issues with these vehicles. . . . The car involved was a 2002 Chrysler Voyager. Windshield wipers caught onto each other , I was able to make temp repair because of holding a safety inspection license and previously working as a auto tech for many years, however if this occurred to my wife while driving on the turnpike. . . Like we were, she would not have been able to continue her journey or may have been involved in an accident. This problem occurred a second time on the same day. I made contact with dealer a couple days later to see if any other similiar complaints and was told by the service manager that none existed. I have since replaced the wiper blades with an aftermarket brand and have not had an opportunity to test them(no rain). I believe that the arms timing may have been interupted some how. The first time I was pulling into the toll booth and decreased my speed and opening the left window. . . The second event was while decreasing speed and turning on my left turn signal to pull into my driveway. . . ???? respectfully request to know if any similiar incidents are reported. This windshield wiper/washer issue occurred Dec. 8, 2001.

The vehicle was a 2006 GMC Envoy. Front windshield washer nozzle failure, both (left and right). 1st event noted in 2009 when vehicle had 32000 miles, this is the 2nd event. Nozzles stop spraying washing fluid effectively, preventing driver from cleaning the front windshield in high debris conditions, reducing visibility and posing a driving hazard specially in high debris / insect areas in non-optimal lighting conditions such as nighttime driving or when the vehicle is aligned towards the sun or other light source. Previous event required replacement of the nozzles, it is not caused by obstruction as plenty of fluid still flows out of the nozzle (just not in the necessary pattern). Also, there was a spot at the bottom of the windshields where the passenger wiper blade left a short inverted "v" type spot that the driver's wiper blade did not clean which would freeze into in the winter. The consumer stated the steering was too sensitive. The consumer was informed the vehicle has electric steering which may be related to the condition. The steering was so sensitive, that he had to constantly move the wheel left and right just to stay out of the oncoming traffic lane and stay in his lane of traffic. Several times, while driving, in a slight crossing wind with various groups of trees, the level of steering sensitivity forced him to run off the edge of the road to avoid entering the oncoming traffic lane. Also, on a few occasions, the consumer had to hit the brakes harder than normal, but not hard enough to engage the abs. With the electric assisted steering, it was impossible to feel if the vehicle was centered in his lane prior to using the brakes. This windshield wiper/washer issue occurred September 1, 2012.

The vehicle involved was a 2008 Jeep Commander 4x4. I recently had an issue where after driving my vehicle, going into a bank and returning to start my car, the vehicle did not start. I tried repeatedly to start the vehicle but nothing worked. Finally it started again at an auto shop and then turned off and we tried to start it again, but it would not start. The battery was tested as well as the starter. There were no issues with either or the components associated with starting the vehicle. However, after my independent mechanic starting searching for recalls he noticed there was a recall on the front control module and said to call Chrysler. I called and only 1338 vehicles were "qualified" for this part recall. My vehicle is not part of that recall but the issue at hand is the culprit of a defective front control module. Vehicle identification number (VIN): JTDBT92318_. 2008 Toyota Yaris 4 door, the left wiper is about 26 inches and the right is 16, thke defroster is in the center and only covers the left wiper and has no effect on the right wiper. When traveling down the highway in snowy conditions the right wiper will ice up and attach itself to the windshield, therefore making the left one not work either. The only thing to do is to pull over and clear it but that is also and and issue on the highway in the snow or ride it to an exit to clear it with absolutely no visibility. If the windshield had a heated strip at the bottom or they redesigned the dash board to cover the left wiper. This is the first snow storm I have driven in and by the looks will not be the last. I am currently trying to work with the Toyota dealership and have pictures of what happens on my sons phone to share. I have driven vehicles with limited visibility and have driven trucks for many years. If this was to happen to an inexperienced driver or one that does not handle things well it could have bad outcomes. The VIN of the car is WAUDG74FX5_. In order to wash the windshield of my 2005 Audi A6, I need to lift the wipers off the glass but, on the A6, you cannot lift the wipers because they set below the hood line. The hood blocks my lifting them. Audi provides a "service position" for the windshield wipers which moves them a few inches allowing me to lift them off the windshield so I can clean the glass. In order to access the "service position" for the wipers, I am required to move the ignition key to "on. " I turned the ignition on, chose the "service position" for the wipers, headed out of the car and lifted the wipers off the window. The wipers were now several inches away from the windshield, out in space, allowing me to wipe the glass easily. When I applied my windex, the automatic sensor that starts the wipers if it senses rain, noted the liquid on the windshield and began to move the wipers back and forth even though they were sticking up and away from the windshield. The movement brought them towards my head and I just moved my head in time not to be struck in the eye by the wipers. Since the car requires that I turn the ignition on to access the windshield wipers "service position," the choice of "service position" should automatically turn off the automatic rain sensor so the wipers can be handled safely.
